Canyonlands

Or where Fred Flinstone worked !!

I was recommended to stay at the Needles Outpost campsite on the edge of CanyonLands National Park. I still haven't closed my mouth yet from the sheer beauty and grandeur of this place. On the way through Moab, I kept stopping to take photos of the beautiful rock formations, but I should have waited until I got to the Canyonlands park and spent more time there instead of lollygagging. The campsite I stayed at was perfect. Quiet, friendly hosts, and next door to the Park. I used my Solo firepit to cook dinner, then sat out in the moonlight to view the stars. I got up early the next day so I could have a whole day to explore. I found a small dwelling mud and stone bricked up into a small cave, a wall of Petroglyphs, and finished that off with a run up to Slickrock Canyon. It didn't disappoint.

Now heading down to Mesa Verde. Onwards we go
