Pendleton to Boise in Idaho

The trip was through miles and miles of cattle county with Sage Brush and scatterings of recent snowfall. It was pretty uneventful, but I did manage to snag the last camp site at the KOA.

They had an indoor swimming pool and a HotTub that I took full use of, before joining a small Bluegrass session. I played one tune and then sat and listened, as my shoulder is still not that great. The 3 old boys there were joined by a great fiddler called Janine who hailed from the East Coast.

I stayed til 9 then went to bed. Still freezing, so by 5.00AM, I was ready to get up and get going. I quietly repacked the trailer and headed off to SLC to stay with my friend Kate MacCleod. She is playing a concert tonight, so I have her Doggo for company .😘
